Miranda, Jos\u00e9 Guzm\u00e1n, particip\u00f3 en una Ofrenda Floral en Conmemoraci\u00f3n de los 493 a\u00f1os del nacimiento del Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro, desde el Pante\u00f3n Nacional en Caracas, donde reposan los restos simb\u00f3licos de este l\u00edder ind\u00edgena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Defensor Delegado record\u00f3 que el 08 de diciembre de 2001, ingresaron los restos del gran cacique Guaicaipuro al Pante\u00f3n Nacional, en reconocimiento por su valent\u00eda y coraje en la resistencia ind\u00edgena; motivo por el cual el entonces Presidente Hugo Ch\u00e1vez acompa\u00f1\u00f3 el traslado de los restos simb\u00f3licos de insigne hombre, siendo esta la primera vez que un h\u00e9roe de los pueblos originarios era reconocido como h\u00e9roe de la Patria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"737\" height=\"492\" src=\"http:\/\/www.defensoria.gob.ve\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/MIRANDA-FOTO-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3158\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.defensoria.gob.ve\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/MIRANDA-FOTO-1.jpg 737w, http:\/\/www.defensoria.gob.ve\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/MIRANDA-FOTO-1-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 737px) 100vw, 737px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La actividad fue organizada por la Alcald\u00eda del municipio Guaicaipuro, y liderada por el alcalde, Farith Fraija, en compa\u00f1\u00eda de su esposa, Jenny Ahumada de Fraija; las Diputadas a la Asamblea Nacional, Nohel\u00ed Pocaterra y Carmen Cisneros; el concejal Ismael Cedre; el historiador Sa\u00fal Ribas Ribas; la Contralora municipal, Francis Acosta; y dem\u00e1s autoridades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vale destacar que por Decreto de la Asamblea Nacional, cada 8 de diciembre se conmemora el \u201cD\u00eda Nacional del Cacique Guaicaipuro y de los Caciques de la Resistencia\u201d.&nbsp;<strong>FIN\/ PRENSA
